EVERGLADES NP

Everglades includes the largest subtropical wilderness in the USA with habitat for the endangered Florida panther, American Crocodile, and the manatee. Plagued with invasive snakes, there are several bird species surviving in the Everglades. I found a" Z" tree, which legends attribute to the Seminole wars. The trees were bent to provide directions to the fleeing Native Americans.
